About Us

In the last decade, the City of Mesa has experienced significant population growth, opening the door for a bigger progressive movement in the area. This increase in population and political opportunity has brought to our attention the need for a larger network of advocacy groups in the area.

As a result, Indivisible Mesa split into two independent, collaborative groups to address this need and broaden our network. There is now Indivisible Mesa AND Mesa Valley Indivisible!!

Jillian Ryan will remain the leader of Indivisible Mesa and will be focusing on local organizing (for example: 287(g) at the city council) and electoral activity. Mesa Valley Indivisible will be led by Meagan O’Connor and will focus more on national calls to action and mass mobilizations. The formation of the new group will open us up to greater resources and allow volunteers to put their energy into the actions they are most passionate about.

We are excited to move forward with these two groups and expand the Indivisible movement throughout the Mesa community!!
