Red Cards
Mesa Valley Indivisible uses donations to purchase red cards from progressive printing businesses to give to anyone willing to pass them out to our vulnerable community members.
If you would like red cards at no charge, please email us at mesavalleyindivisible@gmail.com
What are Red Cards?
All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. The ILRC's red cards give examples of how people can exercise these rights.
These red cards are life-savers
The people who need them know what they are - simply say for “la migra”
Spanish radio stations talk about red cards all day everyday
Many people are uneducated - unable to write or copy another person’s red card
Any word or even noise a person makes can be counted as a response to ICE agents – they will lie!
When ICE comes to them, people stay silent and just show them the card – even through a window!
There are various languages now available - click here to view and print off your own
