The Trump administration has overseen the bombing of small boats in the Caribbean and Pacific, resulting in over 80 deaths, under the unsubstantiated claim that they were trafficking drugs. Defense Secretary Hegseth reportedly issued a "no quarter order" in at least one strike, directing a second attack to eliminate two civilian survivors, an action a former military lawyer suggests amounts to murder since these non-combatants posed no imminent threat. Lawmakers are urged to demand an immediate, public investigation into these lawless killings and the orders that sanctioned them.
